More than 300 million tennis balls are manufactured each year. Not having recycling alternative, the balls end up being sent to the landfills where they slowly decompose. These are not recyclable and take, in average, 2500 years to decompose.
But that doesn’t mean that, after they go into play, are no longer useful. Each new.ve pair a second life to 4 tennis balls.
